    7. With the handle in its down position, slide the PSU into the server’s chassis as far as it will go. Ensure that the handle does not return to a vertical position until the PSU is as far into the chassis as it will go, otherwise the PSU will not engage with the power distribution board inside the server.

    Memory There are four memory module sockets per processor on the server’s system board. Memory is supplied by Sun in paired DIMMS. Ensure that you use the DIMM pairs as supplied and do not mix them. Caution – The procedures in this section are for the attention of service providers only.

    Memory Configuration Rules Memory is shipped in matched pairs for use on the Sun Fire V250 server. Use memory only in these matched pairs - do not mix memory modules. When you install memory, follow the configuration rules below. DIMMs must be identical.
