Refer to the following standards for the permitted pressure values of the flanges at higher
temperatures:
• pR EN 1092-1: With regard to its stability-temperature property, the material 1.4435 is
identical to 1.4404, which is classed as 13E0 in EN 1092-1 Tab. 18. The chemical
composition of the two materials can be identical.
• ASME B 16.5
• JIS B 2220
In each case, the lowest value from the derating curves of the device and the selected
flange applies.

Test pressure

Test pressure = 1.5 · PN
• Maximum 100 bar (1 450 psi) at 230 °C (446 °F) and 280 °C (536 °F)
• Membrane burst pressure at 200 bar (2 900 psi)
The device function is limited during the pressure test.
The mechanical integrity is guaranteed at pressures up to 1.5 times the process nominal
pressure PN.
