been obstructed from the outside. Failure to completely shut off the power supply phases may
cause electric shock and/or damage to the module.
• When turning on the power or operating the module after installation or wiring work, be sure the
module's terminal covers are correctly attached. Failure to attach the terminal covers may result in
electric shock.
• Be sure to ground the FG terminals and LG terminals to the protective ground conductor.
Not doing so could result in electric shock or erroneous operation.
• When wiring the PLC, check the rated voltage and terminal layout of the wiring, and make sure the
wiring is done correctly. Connecting a power supply that differs from the rated voltage or wiring it
incorrectly may coups fire or breakdowns.
• Do not connect the outputs of two or more power supply modules in parallel.
The power supply module may overheat and cause a fire or failure.
• Tighten the terminal screws with the specified torque. If the terminal screws are loose, it may result
in short circuits, fire or malfunction.
If the terminal screws are tightened too much, it may damage the screws and the module result in
short circuits, malfunction or cause the module to fall out.
• Be careful not to let foreign matter such as filings or wire chips gear inside the module. These can
cause fire, breakdowns and malfunction.
• Perform correct pressure-welding, crimp-contact or soldering for connectors for the outside using
the specified tools. See the User's Manual of the corresponding I/O module for tools required to
perform pressure-welding and crimp-contact.
Incorrect connection may cause short circuits, fire, or malfunction.
