2. Connect the KIT (HLR01) to the Gate/Door opener without power on the
board, when using external power supply for HLR01.
In this situation, you need an external 12-24VDC power source to make
the kit to work with the gate&door opener.
How to program the HomeLink system to the HLR01
Note: Please ensure the gate/door opener is powered off when you
programming the HomeLink system to the remote control.
Before you begin- You should erase any previously learned codes before
programming the first button.
You can program your HomeLink system to the remote control step by step:
1. Enter your car, insert your key into the ignition and turn the key to the
"ACC" position.
2. Select the HomeLink button you want to program (on mirror). Press and
hold the HomeLink button until the red light begins to flash slowly
(approximately 20 seconds).
3. While continuing to hold the HomeLink button, place the remote control,
which included in the package, 2 to 5 inches away from HomeLink (mirror)
and press and hold the button on the remote control. Hold both buttons until
the red light begins to flash rapidly.
4. Release both buttons. HomeLink should now be programmed to operate
the gate/door opener.
