If you would like to change the settings made in
the wizard at the beginning, you can restart the
wizard here and set up the devolo Giga Bridge
adapter again.

4.3.6Firmware

In the Firmware area, you can find information
about the firmware currently installed and also
configure various settings.
Firmware update
The currently installed firmware of the
devolo Giga Bridge adapter is displayed on
the overview page (see 4.3 Overview).
The firmware of the devolo Giga Bridge adapter
includes the software for operating the device. If
devolo Giga Bridge
necessary, devolo offers new versions on the
Internet as a file download. The firmware update
can be initiated automatically or manually.
Automatically search for updates
The devolo Giga Bridge adapter can look for up-to-
date firmware automatically. To do this, enable the
option Regulary check for firmware updates.
The devolo Giga Bridge lets you know when a new
firmware version becomes available and asks if
firmware should be updated.
Automatic Update
With the Automatically install firmware updates
option enabled, the devolo Giga Bridge automati-
cally installs the firmware it has found.
Manually initiate a firmware update
Download the appropriate

the built-in web interface
Note: If the devolo Giga Bridge is connected to
the LAN port of the router, there is no active In-
ternet connection when you call up the web in-
terface!
