Wiring using coaxial
The connection using the coaxial cable via F-con-
nector is probably the least complicated option for
connecting the devolo Giga Bridge. Simply remove
a cable on the coaxial distributor, set the other end
of
the
devolo Giga Bridge, tighten and you're done.
Plug one adapter of the devolo Giga Bridge
1
into an available power socket next to the NT/
ONT.
Connect the adapter of the devolo Giga Bridge
2
using the provided network cable with the NT/
ONT.
Connect the adapter of the devolo Giga Bridge
3
using the coaxial cable (F-type connection,
coax) to an existing line / existing connection.
The connection between the NT/ONT and
router over the coaxial cable is completed.

3.4.1 Wiring the devolo Giga Bridge to
the router
Once the first devolo Giga Bridge adapter has
been connected to the NT/ONT, the next step is to
connect the second devolo Giga Bridge adapter to
the router in the living space. After the adapter is

into
depending on the type of cabling selected, it is
connected using a coaxial or telephone cable. For
this purpose, the corresponding cable has to be
connected to the socket provided for this.
Wiring using a telephone line
The connection of the devolo Giga Bridge using
the telephone cable is hassle-free. If an unused
telephone socket (TAE socket, Telecommunication
Adapter Equipment) and an old telephone
connection cable are available, e.g. a grey DSL
cable, it can be connected easily to the G.hn phone
jack of the devolo Giga Bridge. The DSL cable uses
the
same
devolo Giga Bridge, so that no further steps are
necessary:
