3) Attach the unit to the wall using two screws per side. Tighten the screws with a Phillips
screwdriver.
4) Plug the power cord into a 120VAC 60Hz outlet.
NOTE: An international version is available for 220V/50Hz operation. (Order part # IMS-
4003.)
Connecting Sensors
The IMS-4000 Node has eight sensor inputs. Each input can accept any sensor type. Sensors are
available to monitor the following:
n Temperature
n Humidity
n Water detection
n AC voltage
n Alarm contacts from external equipment
All IMS-4000 sensors connect to the Node using standard RJ-45 cables. This makes it easy to con-
nect sensors directly to the unit. Simply plug one end of the cable into the sensor and the other end
into one of the sensor inputs on the Node.
