RAID
Configuration
RAID stands for Redundant Array of Independent Disks and refers to any technology that combines
multiple physical disk drive components into a single logical unit for the purposes of data redundancy
and recovery.
You can set up your video recording drives to mirror each other for redundancy. This halves the overall
capacity, but if one of the drives fail you can recover your recordings in full from the other drive, replace
the failed drive, and resume recording.*
