If your battery pack is not installed with batteries, please follow the
proper procedure to put the batteries inside the unit.
NOTE!
Make sure that the battery pack is disconnected from the UPS before
performing the following sequence of operations!
Following these precautions when working on batteries:
• Remove watches, rings, or other metal objects.
• Use tools with insulated handles.
• Do not lay tools or metal parts on top of batteries as you might
produce a short.
• Disconnect charging source prior to connecting or disconnecting
battery terminals.
• Do not plug or unplug the battery connector if UPS works in DC
(discharging) mode.
IMPORTANT NOTE
Please be aware that UPS models Aster 1K, Aster 2K and Aster
3K support only ONE Battery module.
Step 1. Unscrew and remove the top cover from the battery module.

Step 2. Unscrew and unplug steel straps from the battery module.
Step 3. Remove the battery pack from the module.
Step 4. Open the battery pack and begin placing the batteries.
For 36 Vdc battery pack (UPBPCA0312FX-CG01B)
A. Place 3 batteries in the left tray and connect the cables as shown in
the image below. (the following drawing indicates the fasten positions for
the correct batteries connection).
