m Remaining hazards
The machine has been built using modern technolo-
gy in accordance with recognized safety rules. Some
remaining hazards, however, may still exist.
• The splitting tool can cause injuries to fingers and
hands if the wood is incorrectly guided or supported.
• Thrown pieces can lead to injury if the work piece is
not correctly placed or held.
• Injury through electric current if incorrect electric con-
nection leads are used.
• Even when all safety measures are taken, some re-
maining hazards which are not yet evident may still
be present.
• Remaining hazards can be minimized by following
the safety instructions as well as the instructions in
the chapter Authorized use and in the entire operating
manual.
• Risk from particular wood properties (branches, un-
even shape etc.)
Transport

For transport, the splitting knife A must be completely
moved down. Slightly tilt the log splitter with handle B on
the splitting column until the machine is inclined on the
wheels and can be moved.
Transport by crane:
Never lift the machine on the splitting knife!
Storing conditions:
The following conditions are required:
• Dry storing place under roof
• Maximum humidity 80 %
• Temperature range -20 °C to +60 °C
The machine should operate under the following envi-
ronmental conditions:

Setting up
Prepare the work place where the machine is to stand.
Create sufficient space in order to allow safe working
without disturbance.
The machine has been designed for working on a level
surface. It must therefore be set up in a stable position
on firm ground.

Wij wijzen erop dat onze toestellen overeenkomstig hun
bestemming niet ontworpen zijn voor commercieel, am-
bachtelijk of industrieel gebruik. Wij zijn niet aanspra-
kelijk indien het apparaat in ambachtelijke of industriële
bedrijven alsmede bij gelijk te stellen activiteiten wordt
gebruikt.
m Resterende risico's
De machine is volgens de stand van de techniek en
de erkende veiligheidstechnische regels gebouwd.
Nochtans kunnen er bij het werken resterende ri-
sico's optreden.
• Gevaar op verwonding voor vingers en handen door
de houtsplijter als het hout op een ondeskundige ma-
nier geleid of erop gelegd wordt.
• Verwonding doordat het werkstuk wegslipt bij ondes-
kundig klemmen of leiden.
• Gevaar door stroom bij gebruik van aansluitleidingen
voor elektriciteit die niet volgens de voorschriften zijn.
• Verder kunnen er, ondanks alle getroffen voorzorgs-
maatregelen, resterende risico's bestaan die niet
zichtbaar zijn.
• Resterende risico's kunnen worden geminimaliseerd
als de veiligheidsvoorschriften en het gebruik volgens
de voorschriften, alsook de handleiding opgevolgd
worden, in het bijzonder bij gebruik van een kloofkruis.
Transport

Om de houtsplijter te transporteren, moet men het splijt-
mes 2 helemaal naar onder rijden. Kantel de hakbijl
met handgreep 3 aan de splijtzuil lichtjes kantelen, tot
de machine naar de wielen overhelt en zo kan worden
voortbewogen.
Transport met kraan:
Nooit optillen aan het splijtmes!

Neem a.u.b. de volgende specificaties in acht:
• droog, overdekt magazijn
• max. luchtvochtigheid 80 %
• temperatuurbereik -20 °C ... +60 °C
De machine moet werken onder de volgende omge-

Opstelling
Bereid de werkplaats, waar de machine moet staan,
voor. Maak genoeg plaats om een veilig, storingsvrij
werken mogelijk te maken. De machine is ontworpen
om te werken op gladde oppervlaktes, en moet op een
gladde, vaste ondergrond stabiel worden opgesteld.
Het werkgebied moet goed zijn verlicht.
