4-8-6. JUMBO FRAME (M56)

This menu is used to set the jumbo frame
Note
This value does not include the 4-byte frame check sequence (FCS).

9014: Set the frame size to 9014 bytes.
4088: Set the frame size to 4088 bytes.
off (1514): Set the maximum frame size of a standard Ethernet.
Procedure
1.
Select "M56: JUMBO FRAME".
2.
Select the jumbo frame with the PUSH SET knob.
3.
Press the F5 (SAVE) button.

A "jumbo frame" is a frame larger than the maximum 1514 bytes (not including FCS) of a standard Ethernet frame. Jumbo frames make it possible to
deliver larger payloads per packet. Since fewer packets need to be routed, packet processing overhead is lower and network throughput is improved.
(Note that this item is enabled only when LINK SPEED is set to "1Gbps FullDuplex". In order to use this function, all other devices on the network must
also support jumbo frames.)

4-8-7. RESET NET CONFIG (M5F)

This menu returns the network settings to the factory default settings.
Note
Executing RESET NET CONFIG also resets the password of the unit. After RESET NET CONFIG is executed, set the password
again.

RESET OK?
RESET : SAVE KEY
TO MENU : MENU KEY
F5 (SAVE) button: Reset the network settings.
MENU button: Display the higher menu hierarchy again without executing this menu.
Procedure
1.
Select "M5F: RESET NET CONFIG".
2.
Press the F5 (SAVE) button.
The higher menu hierarchy is displayed.
3.
Press the F5 (SAVE) button again.
