Resetting the Device from the Control Panel

To reset the Quantum Ultra unit (see figure 61):

If desired, enter a name of 1 to 15 characters for your Quantum Ultra Series
processor in the Device Name field (see figure 60,
letters, numbers, and the hyphen (-) can be used in this name.
NOTES:
• The device name must start with a letter.
• All letters in the Device Name field are displayed in uppercase. By default the
device name is QU610- followed by the last three hex pairs of MAC address.
Select the tab for the LAN port to configure (LAN A or LAN B) (

Enter the addresses in the IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, and DNS
Server fields ( ).

NOTE: The Media Access Code (MAC) address cannot be changed.
If desired, select the tab for the other LAN port and repeat step 4.
When finished, click Confirm (
unit will restart in 5 seconds.
Click OK on the prompt to close it. The unit restarts, applying your new settings.
Click the Reset Device button on the Control Panel (see figure 47,
page 51).
