J Maintenance

The UPS contains no serviceable parts. In case of a malfunction the upstream power source has to be discon-
nected and cables have to be removed. Dangerous voltages are present inside the UPS. Therefore, during
maintenance and service work or in the event of a failure, the power source must be switched off, the battery
removed and the cables disconnected. Use a dry cloth for cleaning!
Attention! Safe handling of batteries
When replacing batteries, only use original batteries. 1 piece 24 V battery BP-2480 is installed.
All metallic objects such as chains, watches with metal bracelets or rings have to be removed before dismant-
ling the batteries.
Please ensure that the batteries are installed in the correct direction and that the polarity (+ and -) is correct
according to the device manufacturer's instructions. The battery wiring is to be fixed to the battery slide with

Replaced batteries are hazardous waste that must be disposed of accordingly..
Do not throw batteries into fire  Risk of explosion!

Reversing the polarity of the batteries can damage them and possibly the UPS mainboard, too!
If the battery poles short-circuit, high energy can damage the battery and the service personnel.
Use only tools with insulated handles.
