LEARN the tool’s application, limitations and possible hazards. 2) KEEP GUARDS IN PLACE and in working order. 3) REMOVE ADJUSTING KEYS AND WRENCHES. Form a habit of checking to see that keys and adjusting wrenches are removed from the tool before turning ON.

    CUT-OFF MACHINE SAFETY WARNINGS - Hold power tool by insulated gripping surfaces, when performing an operation where the cutting accessory may contact hidden wiring or its own cord. Cutting accessory contacting a “live” wire may make exposed metal parts of the power tool “live” and could give the operator an electric shock.

Press the release button for the footplate and slide the footplate to the required position. Release the footplate release button and check that the footplate is firmly latched.

    NOTE: - If the tool is operated continuously at low speeds for a long period of time, the operation life of the motor will be reduced. - The speed adjusting dial can be turned only as far as full speed and lowest speed.
