Initiate an immedi-
ate, slow ascent. If
necessary, throw off
weight. Have the ja-
cket checked / repair
completely. Disposal
if necessary.

Start swim upward ini-
tiating a slow ascent,
if needed throw off
weight.
Let some air out of
the jacket until the
too fast buoyancy is
stopped.
Slowly return to the
surface. Inflate the
jacket on surface (if
necessary with your
mouth). Check lead
system.
