Restraint sys. malfunction

Consult a qualified specialist workshop immediately.

* Active Brake Assist is temporarily unavailable.
The ambient conditions are outside the system limits .
Drive on.

As soon as the ambient conditions are within the system limits, the system will become available again.
If the display message does not disappear, stop the vehicle while paying attention to road and traffic conditions

and restart the engine.
* The restraint system is faulty (
& WARNING Risk of injury or fatal injury due to a malfunction in the restraint system
If the restraint system is malfunctioning, restraint system components may be triggered unintentionally or
might not be triggered at all in the event of an accident. This may affect the seat belt tensioner or airbag, for
example.
Have the restraint system checked and repaired immediately at a qualified specialist workshop.

Detection of a restraint system fault:
The restraint system warning lamp 6 does not light up when the ignition is switched on.
