Checklist after driving off-road
Off-road driving terrain places greater demands
on your vehicle than driving on normal roads.
Check the entire vehicle for damage and foreign
bodies every time after driving off-road. Foreign
bodies in the wheels or drivetrain can lead to
imbalances and therefore vibrations.

Operation of the ECO start/stop function
Mercedes-AMG vehicles: observe the notes in
the Supplement. Otherwise, you may fail to rec‐
ognise dangers.
The engine is switched off automatically in the
following situations if all vehicle conditions for
an automatic engine stop are met:
you brake the vehicle to a standstill in trans‐
R
mission position h or i.
if you switch on the HOLD function or select a
different transmission position than k, the
engine will automatically stop in the following
situations:
you stop behind a vehicle that is pulling
R
away.
you stop at a stop sign when there is no vehi‐
R
cle in front of you.
you turn the steering wheel hard at a low
R
speed.
