Troubleshooting SATA Drives
When working properly, the system detects the SATA drives and report how many drives you have in the
system.
SATA drives are only used by Cisco in the 2 RU computer used for video storage.
Note
There are a total of three SATA controllers cards. Each of the SATA controller cards controls a total of
8 SATA drives for a total of 24 SATA drives.
The SATA controller card is located in slots 1, 5, and 6 counting from the right as you are facing the rear

If the system reports that there is a problem with the SATA drives such as the drives not being recognized
or being reported as bad, use the following procedure:
