Basic Dough
Light Wholemeal Rolls
Ingredients:
3 tsp
Surebake yeast

white flour

wholemeal flour

sugar
2 Tbsp
butter
2 Tbsp
milk powder
1 tsp
salt

egg, beaten
poppy or sesame seeds
Method:
Make dough according to instructions on

Turn the dough out into a greased bowl.

Cover and let the dough rest for 20 minutes
in the refrigerator.
Divide the dough into 12 ---16 equal portions.

Shape into rolls and place on a greased
baking tray. Cover and leave to rise in a warm
place (30 ---35

C) for 30 minutes or until doubled
in size.
Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with

seeds.
Bake in a preheated 200

25 minutes or until golden brown.

Savoury Pull Apart
Ingredients:
3 tsp
Surebake yeast

2 Tbsp

Method:
Make dough according to instructions on

Divide into 10 even sized pieces. Shape these

as you would for bread rolls and then squeeze
them into a lightly greased large loaf pan or round
cake tin.
Cover with a plastic wrap and leave to rise in a

warm place until well risen.

onions, sliced grated cheese

other savoury ingredients such
as ham, salami, sun dried
tomatoes, olives etc
When risen, sprinkle with the above.

Bake at 200

Serve as an accompaniment for soup or
