Setting the Alarm to Wake You

Check that the alarm(s) is enabled.
Set the radio to Standby.
Changing the Alarm Status:

To switch the alarms on or off when set to Standby -
Press ALARM repeatedly.
The alarm status will change. There are four options
available to enable either or both alarms or to disable
both.
Make sure that you set the alarm volume level high
enough to wake you!

When the Alarm Sounds

To stop the alarm sounding:
Press ALARM or to stop the alarm sounding.
To set Snooze mode:
Press the SCROLL dial repeatedly to set a snooze
time of 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes.
When Snooze mode is set the alarm will stop sounding for
the snooze period.
The alarm indicator will flash on the display and the
snooze time will count down.
When the snooze time expires the alarm will sound again.
You can now set Snooze mode again or press
cancel Snooze mode and switch the alarm off.
If you are unable to read the display at night, set the 'Standby' backlight brightness to a higher setting.
To briefly switch on the display backlight to full brightness when set to Standby, press one of the buttons.
