4 Installing the Printhead

The printhead is installed with the printer powered on. Follow this procedure
and the operation panel messages below to install the printhead.

Press the Power button to switch the printer on.
After a few seconds "Open Upper Cover" is displayed.

Open the upper cover.
"Install P.head" is displayed.
Important
z To avoid damaging the printer, never touch any part of the printer unless instructed
to do so.
