The compressed air supply (e.g. from a compressor) must fulfill the follow-
ing criteria:
Only use lubricated, condensate-free compressed air. Use accessories
to pre-treat the compressed air if required, such as the VOGT precision
in-line oiler Z 300.
Working pressure range: 3 to 6 bar (44 to 87 psi).
An effective feed rate of at least:
140 l/min for the model VH 10 / VH 10 Delta
190 l/min for the following models: VH 25 / VH 25 Delta / VH 30 / VH
30 Delta
255 l/min for the following models: VH 50 / VH 50 Delta / VH 50.18
/ VH50.18 Delta / VH 60 / VH 60 Delta / VH 60.18 / VH 60.18 Delta /
VTS 50 / VTS 60
This generally equates to a minimum suction capacity of around
380-450 l/min. for compressors.
Note: To connect the VOGT compressed air device to the compressed air
supply (e.g. compressor), you will need an air intake hose with an inside
diameter of at least 9 mm, such as a VOGT metal hose drum (Z 100) or VOGT
compressed air hose (Z 110). Use a hose with a larger cross-section if cover-
ing distances of over 30 m. Compressed air hoses with a claw coupling must
be fitted with an adapter – e.g. a VOGT adapter from 3/4" to a standard con-
nection (Z 200) – at the end at which the VOGT compressed air device is to be
connected. This is to be done while the device is still depressurized.
Follow these steps to connect your VOGT compressed air device to the
compressed air supply:
Risk of damage to rammer and tools
Danger of device and tool damage.
¾ Check the pressure of the compressed air supply and
adjust it to max. 6 bar.
¾ Use an additional pressure gauge if required
(VOGT pressure gauge Z 400).
1. Insert an in-line oiler (Z 300) into the compressed air line if one is not
already integrated into the compressed air supply. Observe the follow-
ing basic points:
The in-line oiler should be inserted between the final compressed
air hose and the previous hose or, as appropriate, the compressor.
The in-line oiler cannot be more than 10 meters away from the
compressed air device.
