Operator's Manual: 405 SLD Seed Express
4.3.2 Hydraulic System:
Hydraulic oil and filter change is recommended
annually or every 400 hours of operation using
an AW HVI Hydraulic ISO 32 oil.
IMPORTANT:
Never run the hydraulic pump
unless the hydraulic oil tank is full.
1. Place a large waste oil container under the
tank drain port.
2. Drain the hydraulic tank by removing the
drain plug from the tank.
- Allow the tank to drain completely.
3. Remove and replace the oil filter.
4. Apply a thin coat of oil to the rubber seal of
the new oil filter. Hand-tighten only.
5. Re-install the drain plug.
6. Fill the tank to the fill line at the top of the
gauge with AW HVI Hydraulic ISO 32 oil.
7. Replace the cap.
8. Start the engine and cycle all the cylinders
several times.
9. Recheck the oil level in the tank and add as
needed.
4.3.3 Hydraulic Manual Override:
The hydraulic manifold is equipped with a
manual override feature.
The top valves have a push/pull mechanism that
will allow you to move the hydraulic components
on the tender.

hydraulic components on the tender.

10.3 ENGINE

manual that was provided with the seed tender.

10.3.1 Approved Fuel
Use a regular unleaded automotive gasoline for all
operating conditions. The fuel tank capacity is 1.0
liter (2.1 US pints).
