3. Carefully fold the sensor skin (3) open.
4. Separate the grounding cable between collision detection element
and sensor skin.
5. Remove the sensor skin from the CDE.

Establishing electrical connections between end
effector and collision detection element
When connecting components on the customer side, observe the
specifications in the circuit diagram.
Only connect the cable if the sensor head has been disassembled
from the APAS assistant.
If necessary, the end effector can be connected at the following ports of
the collision detection element:
• 3x DI/DO at the interface X875
• Voltage supply 0VDC / +24 VDC at the interfaces X801 / X901
• Functional ground
In the blind plate, 2 cable grommets have been mounted through
which the cables can be laid to the interfaces a the interface module.
Per cable grommet, one cable can be laid.
The cables must have a diameter between 4.5 mm and 10 mm.
