6.2.1

Disassembling the spring

Risk of injury to the eyes due to springs jumping out
In the installed condition, the spring is tensioned. Upon removal of the
housing cover, the spring may jump out of the housing and cause injuries
to the eye.
f Wear protective goggles.
f Take the housing cover off the housing slowly to allow for slow
extension of the spring.
Damage to the product in case of faulty disassembly of the housing
cover
The housing cover is pushed against the pre-tensioned spring of the
spring assembly by means of the fastening screws and is under tension.
f When removing the 6 fastening screws, hold the housing cover in its
position until all screws have been removed. Afterwards, take it off
the housing vertically.

1. Loosen the grounding cable between housing and housing cover.
2. Hold the housing cover in its position and remove the six screws (1)
at the housing cover.
3. Remove the housing cover (3) vertically from the housing.
4. Remove the installed spring (4).
5. Rotate the disassembled housing cover by 180°.
