3.1 Operational menus

The functions of the operational menus extend over two access levels.
The menus can be selected after the program control has been initiali-
zed or directly after each RESET.

Functions on access level 1

The function keys of access level 1 are assigned to the symbols above
them. These symbols cannot be changed and therefore remain visible
all the time.

F2 Manual sewing, controlled by footswitch
F3 Select sewing parameters / Enable or disable machine functions
F4 Select sewing machine parameters
F5 No function
F6 Select sewing parameters / Enable or disable machine functions
F7 Activate stacker manually
F8 Pass thread through needle

Selecting access level 2

• Press the  key

Manual sewing, controlled by footswitch:

When the front of the pedal is depressed, the sewing process starts.
The sewing speed depends on the applied pressure, i.e. the more pres-
sure applied, the higher the speed. When the rear of the pedal is de-
pressed, the machine switches to automatic operation. When the left
side of the pedal is actuated, the needle is positioned in the uppermost
position. If equipped with optional thread trimmer, the thread is trimmed.
1. Select the function:
• Press the  key.
2. The display shows the symbol for Manual seam:
3. To disable the function, press F2 again, then perform a reset.
