Preparation
ATTENTION!
Do not use the appliance without water. However, if it happens, the
heating element will switch off automatically (dry operation protection).
Dry operation protection indicator light (red) lights up.
In such a case, before filling with water and re-using the appliance, leave it for
5–10 minutes to cool down.
ATTENTION!
Risk of scalding!
When removing the lid to top up water in the hot water tank, steam may
come out, which may scald hands, arm and face!
Switch the appliance off and disconnect it from mains socket (pull the plug out).
Before taking the lid off carefully with a dish-washing cloth, leave the appliance
to cool down for a couple of minutes.
Water Boiling
1. Use a container to fill the water tank with the required amount of fresh potable
water (section 'Appliance Operation' / 'Water Tank Filling').
2. Place the lid on the water tank.
3. Plug the appliance into a suitable single socket.
4. Switch the appliance on with the ON/OFF switch.
The operation indicator light (blue) in the ON/OFF switch lights up.

1. Place a suitable container (a cup, glass,
teapot) under the dispensing tap.
2. Press the dispensing tap lever down and
keep it pressed.
The dispensing tap opens and water flows (Fig.
to the left).
3. Release the lever, when the required
amount of water is dispensed.
The dispensing tap closes automatically.
