5. Rotate the temperature controller clockwise to B position to switch the appliance
on and boil water.
The heating-up indicator light (blue) is lit.
Water is boiled continuously until it evaporates completely.
Water Heating
1. If water is to be heated up only, boil it one time (section 'Water Boiling').
2. As soon as the water boils, rotate the temperature controller to the limit, counter-
clockwise.
The appliance's heating-up indicator light (blue) goes off.
Water chills gradually if it is not dispensed and used.
Interval boiling
For energy-saving water boiling, we recommend using interval boiling setting. The
thermostat controls energy supply according to needs and requirements. The
appliance switches the heating element off when water boils and switches it back
on, when water temperature drops.
1. Boil water one time (section 'Water Boiling').
2. When water boils, rotate the temperature controller until the heating-up indicator
EN
light (blue) goes off.
When the thermostat switches the heating element back on, the heating-up
indicator light (blue) lights up again.
3. After each use, switch the appliance off by rotating the temperature controller to
the limit, counter-clockwise.
4. Press the ON/OFF switch to switch the appliance off completely.
The operation indicator light (blue) in the ON/OFF switch goes off.
5. Unplug the appliance.
6. Before cleaning and/or storage, leave the appliance to cool down (section
'Cleaning and Descaling').
