Furniture surfaces may contain materials, which may damage or melt the
appliance's feet. If needed, place the appliance on a suitable pad.
•
Make sure to keep proper clearance at all sides (at least 20 cm at both sides
and 30 cm from the top).
Power supply connection
•
Verify if technical data of the appliance (see rating plate) correspond with the
local electric power grid specification.
•
Connect the appliance to a single, properly grounded mains socket with
protective contact. Do not connect the appliance to a multi-socket.
•
The power cord should be laid in a way preventing anyone from threading on it
or tripping against it.
•
Do not use the appliance with an external timer or remote control.

Operation
Before First Use

1. Set the appliance and connect it. Follow indications in section 'Appliance
Installation and Connection'.
2. Prior to first drinking of a tea or hot instant beverages perform trial run to remove
all post-manufacturing residues. Follow indications in section 'Preparation'.
NOTE!
During initial operation, additives connected with production (e.g.
greases) may be the source of slight smoke and/or scent. This is a normal
phenomenon and does not indicate any malfunction.
3. Repeat the process 2 more times. Do not drink the boiled water!
4. Clean the appliance and accessories according to instructions in section
'Cleaning'.
5. Dry the appliance thoroughly.
Appliance Installation and Connection
1. Set the appliance on a dry, hard, even surface that is resistant to high
temperatures and water splashes.
2. Fully unwind the power supply cord.
3. Make sure the ON/OFF switch is set to OFF.
The operation indicator light (blue) in the ON/OFF switch cannot light up.
