Operator's Responsibility for Maintenance

1.6 Operator's Responsibility
for Maintenance
WARNING
Maintenance must be performed by trained
and competent personnel who are familiar with
mechanical procedures.
Death or serious injury could result from the use
of a telehandler that is not properly maintained or
kept in good working condition.
The operator must ensure that the telehandler has
been properly maintained and inspected before
using it.
The operator must perform all the daily inspections
and function tests found on the Operator's Checklist.

4.4, even if the operator is not directly
responsible for the maintenance of this telehandler.
1.6-1 Maintenance and Inspection
Schedule
Refer to Service manual for quarterly (or 250 hours)
and annual inspection details.
The actual operating environment of the telehandler
may affect the maintenance schedule.
WARNING
Use original or manufacturer-approved parts and
components for the telehandler.
NOTE
Refer to Skyjack's website
latest service bulletins prior to performing frequent/
periodic or annual inspections.

1.6-2 Owner's Inspections

It is the responsibility of the owner and/or operator
to arrange daily, quarterly (or 250 hours) and
annual inspections of the telehandler. Refer to the
Service manual for recommended maintenance and
inspection areas and intervals.
