will be over-written by the program selected.
Load Cartridge

cartridge locations to the working memory. Any program that is in the working memory will be

Loop Test
With this function, the Model 64 scans the connected assembly repeatedly. During Loop Test,
the assembly under test can be moved or flexed to test for intermittent connections. When an
error is encountered, the test is halted and the type of error and its location are displayed.
Pressing MENU RUN restarts the test. Each time a successful test is completed, a loop count on
the display increments by one.
Search
This function is used to identify wires by touch.
It is useful in both assembly and
troubleshooting. With the wrist strap connected, the operator may touch the ends of the wires,
and the display will indicate the point or points touched. User Labels will be substituted for the
point numbers if loaded in the working memory.
Self Test
This function checks for opens and shorts on the scanner transmit/receive lines (scanner boards)
of the Model 64. The error type (open or short) and the faulty points are displayed. No test
harness may be connected to the unit during Self Test.

DISPLAY

Visual displays to the operator are provided by a 16-digit alphanumeric LCD (Liquid Crystal
Display). The display provides the user with function, status, signature code, User Labels, and
From/To points. A CONTRAST adjustment for the LCD is provided on the rear panel.
