DELETING A PROGRAM

There are two functions for deleting a program; DELETE INTERNAL, and DELETE
CARTRIDGE. These functions are used to erase a program from a storage location in memory
(internal or cartridge). (The program currently in working memory is not affected.)
A complete Delete procedure is provided below. To select and use a function, proceed as
follows:
1. Engage ENABLE jack on the rear panel.
2. Press Up or Down arrow to step through the menu to display either DELETE
INTERNAL or DELETE CARTRIDGE.
3. Press MENU RUN to initiate the function, and the display will show the selected
Load function and the signature for the last program that was selected with the
load or delete function:
4. Press Up or Down arrow to display the signature for the program to be deleted
from memory. Each time the arrow is pressed, the next program signature will
display.
5. If you decide not to delete a program, press RESET.
6. Press MENU RUN to delete the program for the displayed signature, the display
will show:
7. If you do intend to delete the program, press MENU RUN again. After the
program has been deleted, the display will show:
If you decide not to delete the program, press RESET instead of MENU RUN.
8. If a program was deleted from cartridge, update the cartridge label.
