Chapter 4: Maintenance
DANGER: To decrease the risk of electrical shock, injury, death, and damage to the
equipment, obey the precautions that follow.
Do not connect or disconnect electrical components, wires, and cables while this product

is connected to a power source.
Before you do maintenance to the equipment, disconnect the electrical power.

Uncouple or otherwise prevent motor-coupled machinery movement when you do ser-
l
vice to the equipment.
IMPORTANT: Keep the bearing area free of foreign matter and moisture or the
performance and life expectancy of the stage will be reduced.
4.1. Service and Inspection Schedule
Inspect the PRO225SL/SLE at least once per month. The need for a longer or shorter inspection interval
will depend on the application and conditions, such as the duty cycle, speed, and environment.
Monthly inspections should include but not be limited to:
Visually inspect the stage and cables.

Re-tighten loose connectors.
l
Replace or repair damaged cables.
l
Clean the PRO225SL/SLE and any components and cables as needed.
l
Repair any damage before operating the PRO225SL/SLE.
l
Inspect and perform an operational check on all safeguards and protective devices.
