time. In the _tags.txt file, the fourth field of each EDU line identifies the raw timestamp of the watermark from which
the EDU was derived. The next-to-last field of the EDU line provides a human readable date and time interpretation of
the raw timestamp.
transport packet
All MPEG-2 transport streams are comprised entirely of 188-byte transport packets that can be assembled, based on
their PIDs, into elementary streams or into specialized tables.
transport PID
MPEG-2 uses the PID to link transport packets to the elementary PESs to which the packets belong. The transport
PID reported in each ID3 tag listing in Validator _tags.txt output file identifies the metadata PES from which the ID3
tag was extracted.

watermark
Also known as "audio code." A sequence of bits that the Nielsen Watermark software periodically inserts into an
audio stream. The components of the watermark (SID, timestamp, and level or distribution type) uniquely identify the
portion of audio from which the watermark is extracted and the organization (or content) to which the viewing should
be credited.
watermark SID
The SID in the source watermark. Note that the EDU a representation of the watermark SID that is stored in an ID3
tag.
