F55 - Overriding Time Limit Exceeded, Approximately 180 Minutes

Symptom:
Overriding time limit exceeded; refer to Section 090-2.3.
"End/Anti-Crease" LED lights up.
Only in residual moisture programs.
This fault occurs in the normal operating mode.
Program stop.
Cooldown.
Buzzer intermittently for 2 minutes.
Cause:
Laundry too wet or dryer overloaded.
Remedy:
Spin the laundry more thoroughly in the washer, or reduce the laundry load.
Cause:
Laundry is electrically conductive (low ohmic), due to a metal zipper, for
example.
Remedy:
Run a timed hot program.
Cause:
Air paths clogged.
Remedy:
Check and clean the air paths.
Cause:
Heater bank is not heating.
Remedy:
Check the heater bank (R1, R2) for short circuit or open circuit.
Cause:
Heater relays (1K1/1, 2K1/1) are defective.
Remedy:
Check the heater relays (1K1/1, 2K1/1).
Cause:
Temperature limiter (F2) defective.
Remedy:
Check the temperature limiter (F2) for continuity.
Cause:
Residual-moisture sensor (B3/1) is defective.
Remedy:
1. Check the sampler of residual-moisture sensor B3/1.
2. Check the residual-moisture sensor (B3/1) voltage circuit for high ohmic
(isolation) status; refer to Section 090-4.3.
Note:
To delete this fault indication, open and close the door with the dryer
switched on.
