5.2.2.1 How to check OSS device
This is section only applies to Expresscard34 and how to verify the OSS device using an older model of Mac book Pro running 10.5.X. Older Mac
Book Pro computers have express card 34 mm slot.
Newer Mac Book Pro computers do not have express card and Cardbus card slots.
Select "About This Mac" under the Apple Icon. Then click the "More Info" button. Next, click on the PCI card item, see picture below.
The picture below shows the OSS devices are detected. If you are not seeing the OSS devices but your PCI cards are being recognized or
detected, it simply indicates that the OSS expansion chassis is operating properly. This is normal on some Mac Operating system, the OSS
devices are transparent.
The first PCI-to-PCI Bridge is the OSS ExpressCard34 (Ec34). The vendor ID for the Express card 34 device is 104c.
