The first PCI standard PCI-to-PCI bridge is the OSS PCIe Host Interface card. The second or sub PCI standard PCI-to-PCI bridge is the expansion
hardware, this is the expansion board. See picture below.

3.4.2 Identifying Vendor ID for OSS hardware

You can verify whether the PCI standard PCI-to-PCI bridge is a OSS PCIe Host Interface card or OSS Expansion board by identifying the Vendor
ID.

The Vendor ID for OSS PCIe host card is 104C, Vendor name is Texas Instrument.

The Vendor ID for OSS Expansion board is 12D8, Vendor name is Pericom.
Follow these steps to verify:

Select the PCI standard PCI-to-PCI bridge, right click it with your mouse, select properties, and then select the "Details" tab.

Under the "Property" click the drop down arrow and select "Hardware Ids".

It will display the Vendor information of the device.

It will display the Vendor ID for the OSS PCIe host card and Expansion board.
