You can also check the tightness by:
• Holding the base ONLY at
the belt path with your non-
dominant hand.
• Pushing and pulling from side
to side.
• The base should not move
more than 1 in. (2.5 cm).
If it moves more than 1 in. (2.5 cm), you can try:
• Pushing down on the
• Changing to a different
base more; OR
• Reinstalling the base; OR
• Switching to vehicle belt

Extend Load Leg
(On Select Models)
• Squeeze the buttons
on the load leg and
pull it down until it
meets the vehicle
floor.
• Release the buttons.
• Lift the front of the base while
holding the load leg in place as
shown to lock it into position.
• It must be perpendicular to the
vehicle floor.
Do not use the load leg if it
does not reach the fl oor of your
vehicle. Do not use the load leg
on top of vehicle storage
compartments.
Review your vehicle owner's
manual.
