Opening the bonnet
To release the bonnet, pull on handle 1.

Push handle 1 of the bonnet catch upwards
#
and lift the bonnet until it opens automati‐
cally.
Closing the bonnet
* NOTE Damage to the bonnet
If the bonnet is closed manually, there is a
risk of dents.
Do not close the bonnet manually.

Lower the bonnet to a height of around
#
20 cm and then allow it to fall, applying a lit‐
tle force as you let it go.
If the bonnet can still be lifted slightly, open
#
the bonnet again and close it with a little
more force until it engages correctly.
Engine oil
Checking the engine oil level using the on-
board computer
Requirements:
The engine has been warmed up.
R
The vehicle is parked on a level surface.
R
The engine is running at idle speed.
R
The bonnet is closed.
R
The engine oil level is determined during driving.
Determining the engine oil level can take up to
30 minutes with a normal driving style and even
longer with an active driving style.
