The system evaluates images from the following

You can select from different views:
1 Wide-angle view, front

3 Top view with images from the side cameras
in the outside mirrors

5 Top view with image from the reversing cam‐
era
6 Top view with trailer view (vehicles with a
trailer hitch)
Top view
1 Lane indicating the route the vehicle will
take at the current steering wheel angle

The colour of the individual segments of warning
display 2 is based on the distance to the detec‐
ted obstacle:
Yellow segments: obstacles at a distance
R
between approx. 0.6 m and 1.0 m
Orange segments: obstacles at a distance
R
between approx. 0.3 m and 0.6 m
Red segments: obstacles at a very short
R
distance of approx. 0.3 m or less
When Parking Assist PARKTRONIC is operational
and no object is detected, the segments of the
warning display are shown in grey.
