The CE Mark is affixed to this product to demonstrate conformity to the Low Voltage
Directive (73/23/EEC), the EMC Directive (89/336/EEC) and the Telecoms Terminal
Directive (98/13/EEC).

Connectivity

The Dialer is associated with the Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) and the telephone wall
plug.
This product should work in a satisfactory manner when used in the countries listed in
European Telecommunications Standard Institute (ETSI) Guide EG 201 121 and specified
below:
Germany,
Greece,
Portugal,
Spain and
Switzerland.

Ringer Equivalents Number (REN)

The sum of the Ring Equivalents Number (REN) connected to a direct Exchange line must not
exceed 4. One or more devices may not function correctly if this limit is exceeded.
The REN value of the Dialer is 0.3. Connecting the Dialer to a line will not affect the ability of
your telephones to ring.
It can be assumed that a standard telephone has a REN of 1 unless otherwise stated. No other
apparatus must be connected in parallel with the Dialer.
Note: REN is applicable to the U.K. only
