materials around exhaust vent
pipe and seal all edges with
non-flammable insulation such
as mineral wool or ceramic.
Do not use high temperature
caulking materials to seal any
edge to prevent furture
serviceability.

Inspection of Chimney:
•
Masonry chimney must be in
good condition.
•
Meets minimum standard of NFPA 211
•
Factory-built chimney must be a minimum
6 inch (152mm) UL103 HT.
