Venting Systems
A. Full Reline With Outside Air - Horizontal
CAUTION
Never draw outside combustion air from:
Wall, fl oor or ceiling cavity
Enclosed space such as an attic or garage
Figure 15.1
NOTE:
In Canada, where passage through a wall or partition of
combustible construction is desired, the installation shall
conform to CAN/CSA-B365.

NOTE; Use metal plate around
exhaust vent pipe and seal all
edges with non-flammable insu-
lation such as fiberglass, mineral
wool or ceramic.
Do not use high temperature
caulking materials to seal any
edge to prevent furture service-
ability.

Fire Risk.

Inspection of Chimney:
• Masonry chimney must be in good condition.
• Meets minimum standard of NFPA 211
• Factory-built chimney must be a minimum 6 inch
(152mm) UL103 HT.
