3. Installation

3.1 R-net Operation

Study Chapter 2. It is important that the operation information in Chapter 2 is supplied,
either as part of the wheelchair user handbook or as a separate document.

3.2 Program Settings

It is the wheelchair manufacturer's or dealer responsibility to program the control system to
suit the vehicle model and ensure safe operation in compliance with relevant legal
requirements over the whole of the operating range. Permobil Europe BV accepts no
liability for losses of any kind due to failure to, or incorrect programming of the R-net
Control System. Information about programming can be found in separate manual Art.no:
205313-UK-0.
Programming should only be conducted by healthcare professionals with in-depth
knowledge of PGDT electronic control systems and of the CJ-Rnet of Permobil
Europe BV . Incorrect programming could result in an unsafe setup of a wheelchair
for the user.

3.3 Connections
