Here are the key points to consider before installation: Electrical: All FETCO brewers require NEUTRAL. Ground is not an acceptable substitute. Installation without neutral may cause damage to the electronic components. The wiring diagram is located in this manual and on the inside of the cover. - Page 5 5. Electrical connections must be secured in-place within the unit to meet national and local standards. 6. Finally, connect the power wires to the unit. Models rated for 120 VAC are factory equipped with a 120 VAC cord and plug rated at either 15 amps or 20 amps, depending on the version ordered. Models rated for 120V/208-240V have only a terminal block for connecting the incoming power wires.

Optional Setting: Brew Temperature Protection The CBS-2018 is factory set so that it cannot brew unless the water is at the programmed brewing temperature (the green “ready” light must be on). This may be changed to allow brewing at any temperature. -

Turn the power switch off. Remove the brewer’s rear cover. Turn the power switch on. Hold the SET button for 5 seconds, until the display reads SET. Next, the display will show the software version Press SET. The first parameter number will be displayed briefly, followed by the current setting. -
