by remote control.

NOTE:
When you use the remote control, point it directly at
the receptor on the indoor unit. The maximum
effective distance between the remote control and
the receptor is about 27 feet. The unit beeps once to
confirm that the signal has been received from the
remote control.
NOTE:
To display the temperature in Celsius, press both
Temperature/Timer buttons at the same time.
Auto control switch
If the remote control does not work or you have misplaced
your remote control, you can operate the unit in auto mode
by moving the Auto Control switch to the "A" position under
the front grille.
This setting will operate the air conditioner in the following
manner:
If room temperature rises above 75° F, unit will operate in
cool mode.
If room temperature is between 68° F and 75° F, unit will
operate in dry (dehumidify) mode.
If room temperature falls below 68°F, unit will operate in
heat mode (heat pump models only).
