AMT (Active Management Technology) Configuration
Intel AMT
Select Enabled to use Intel Active Management Technology (AMT) to enhance
system performance. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
Activate Remote Assistance Process
Select Enabled to trigger CIRA (Client-Initiated Remot Access) boot. The options
are Disabled, and Enabled.
Watch Dog Timer
Select Enabled to allow AMT (Advanced Management Technology) to reset or power
down the system if the operating system or BIOS hangs or crashes. The options
are Disabled, and Enabled.
OS Timer / BIOS Timer
These options appear if Watch Dog Timer (above) is enabled. This is a timed
delay in seconds, before a system power down or reset after a BIOS or operating
system failure is detected. Directly enter the value, in seconds.
Super IO Configuration
Super IO Chip NCT6776D
Serial Port 1 Configuration
Select Enabled to enable onboard serial ports. The options are Enabled
and Disabled.
Device Settings
This feature displays the base I/O port address and the Interrupt Request
address of Serial Port 1.
Change Port 1 Settings
This option specifies the base I/O port address and the Interrupt Request
address of Serial Port 1. Select Auto to let the BIOS automatically assign
the base I/O and IRQ address.
The options for Serial Port 1 are Auto, (IO=3F8h; IRQ=4), (IO=3F8h;
IRQ=3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12), (IO=2F8h; IRQ=3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11,
12), (IO=3E8h; IRQ=3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12) and (IO=2E8h; IRQ=3,
4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12).
