(1) Number of indoor units
connected to the outdoor
terminal block (TB3) for in-
door/outdoor transmission
lines exceeds limitations
described below.

(2) The outdoor unit address
is set to 51-100 although
the address is automatical-
ly set up (MA remote con-
troller). ("HO" appears on
the display on MA remote
controller.)
(3) Disconnected transmis-
sion line of the outdoor unit
(4) Short-circuited transmis-
sion line
When (3) and (4) apply,
the following display will
appear.
In case of M-NET remote
controller
-> Nothing appears on the
display as no power is
supplied to the remote
controller.
In the case of MA remote
controller
-> "HO" will blink
(5) Disconnected transmis-
sion line on BC controller
Erroneous setting of OC unit
address
The address of outdoor unit is
not set to 00 or to 51 - 100.The
address of BC controller is not
set to 51 - 100.

Cause
Check method and remedy
1) Check whether the number of
units connected to the outdoor
terminal block (TB3) for indoor/
outdoor transmission lines does
not exceed the limitation. (See
(1) to (4) on the left.)
2) Check (2) - (5) on the left.

Check that the address of the OC unit
and the BC controller is set to 51 - 100.
If the outdoor unit address is out of the
allowable range, turn off the power of
the outdoor unit, and set the address
again.
If the BC controller address is out of
the allowable range, turn off the power
of both the outdoor unit and the BC
controller, and set the address again.
