Changing the emergency password

b. Run the fallowing command:
java –jar EMC-ScaleIO-ams-cli-XXX.jar --username
<Username>
export_trusted_ssh_keys --file_name WANTED_FILE_NAME
Output, similar to the following, appears:

Results
The backup of SSH public keys for all system nodes appears on your local drive, in the
file set up in the command (in this example, WANTED_FILE_NAME).
Using the VxFlex OS GUI, change the emergency password used for offline access to
the VxFlex OS GUI.
Before you begin
To perform this procedure, you must know the existing emergency password.
About this task
The emergency password is defined during system deployment. It can be used to log
in to the VxFlex OS GUI when there is no connectivity to the system's MDM. The
following procedure explains how to change the emergency password.
Procedure
1. From the System Settings menu at the top right side of the window, select the
System Settings option.
The System Settings window is displayed.
2. In the left panel, click Technical Users.
The Set Credentials for Existing Technical Users panel is displayed on the
right side of the window.
3. In the Current Password box, type the password currently defined as the
emergency password.
4. In the New Password and Confirm Password boxes, type the new emergency
password.
5. Click Save.
Results
The emergency password has been changed.
