CONNECTIONS
The connections on the lance block are marked as follows:
S: 3/8" inlet to diesel lance.
The pressure must be kept over 20 bar.
MS: 1/8" connection for the pressure gauge detecting lance input
pressure.
R: 3/8" fuel return pipe.
MR: connection for the pressure gauge detecting return pressure.
L: 3/8"fuel return pipe from the hydraulic line that activates the pin.
The fuel must flow freely without compression.
Make sure that the pressure on line S is 20 bar higher than the pres-
sure on line L, so that the pin operation is reliable.
C: point at which it is possible to detect the operating pressure using
a pressure gauge.
Point C is located behind the piston on the activating rod that moves
the pin.
While the pin is in the closed position or moving, the pressure level is
lower than that of line S.
The pressure level of line MS is achieved when the pin is in the fully
retracted position.
This action allows an hydraulic check of the final position of the pin.
CAUTION / WARNINGS
Make sure that no traces of the material of plastic caps remains
on the connection sockets.
Make sure that the channels inside the connecting block are
fully open.
Even a partial block of channels will cause an incorrect opera-
tion of the lance.
Do not use other kinds of threadlockers.
Use flat O-rings to ensure the sealing of fittings, in order to
prevent any residues inside the lance.
